We found out in 2013 that my father was incurable, and my siblings and I decide to have a picture made of all the grandchildren, and printed on canvas to hang at my parents’ house. We asked Lynne Greenaway to make this beautiful photo. Because my parents were so impressed by this photo, they decided in the fall of 2013 to also have Lynne make photos of the two of them together and separately. These are the last pictures of them together. My father passed away a few months after making the photos. For us, but especially for my mother, these photos have an enormous emotional meaning and are a very beautiful capture of a time that no longer is there. We are very grateful and happy that they did this photo session together.
Live today and always enjoy! One day your world can suddenly look completely different. I’m so glad I asked Lynne to take pictures of my sweetheart, whatever the future holds, this memory of love has been beautifully captured.
My mother died recently. I look at photos taken of her in previous family settings and they don’t really focus on her. I now wish we had taken the time to have a really nice portrait done of her. We have good photos of her about 10 years ago, but nothing more
recent that would have captured her at her best and in the way we would like to remember her. I regret not taking the time to have that done.
When our Paul became seriously ill, we realised that we actually had no pictures of us as a family. Through friends we ended up finding Lynne who created very beautiful pictures of us, just at our house. Not corporate portraits, but all very comfortable and natural. We are very happy to have these photos, as a memento of a beautiful afternoon and as a wonderful memory of our Paul.
