Lynne Greenaway

Lynne Greenaway is a photographic artist born and raised in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. She moved to Hengelo for Love in 2009 and continues to root her life in the Netherlands with her husband and daughter. After a few years hiatus, Lynne is back creating in her home studio.

Her obsession with photography began at the age of 12 when she attended an Art Camp. She created a pinhole camera from a shoe box and has been intrigued by the magic of photography and light and shadow ever since.

She earned her degree in Media, Information and Techno-culture from the University of Western Ontario. She continued her studies at Loyalist College where she received a post-graduate diploma in Photojournalism. She then went on to study in New York City under the apprenticeship of world renowned celebrity photographer David LaChapelle.

Lynne’s portrait work is created with her unique signature high contrast lighting style, and is digitally retouched to produce a beautiful finish. Lynne is dedicated to the creation of images that are not only stunning, but reflect the unique characters and personality of her subjects.
